Dhoni Completed Jammu and Kashmir Trip and visits Kargi War Memorial

Team India Captain  MS Dhoni visited the Kargil War Memorial in his five days trip to Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.Dhoni arrived at the Kargil helipad where he was received by Brigadier Shami Raj.Dhoni having laid a wreath at Kargil War Memorial, paid homage to the martyrs. He also interacted with the officers and Jawans of the army and villagers of Kaksar.
Having been associated with the Army for a such activities, Dhoni said he was interested in joining the army before starting his career as a cricketer, but instead joined the Indian Railways.
“I am fortunate that now I am able to be a part of Indian Army,” said Dhoni.
“I am not here to boost Indian Army. To see the jawans serving in such a situation really boosted me further,” Dhoni said.

With this, Dhoni completed his five-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir during which he visited forward areas in Rajouri in Jammu region, Baramulla in Kashmir and Karu in Ladakh region. Dhoni’s visit to Siachen the highest battleground in the world had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. He will return to Delhi on Thursday.
